Hello and welcome to my little store. We sell (and you can only say “we” if you include me, myself, and I) old comic books, and comic artwork, and comic related collectibles. I have been a collector from the age of 10 of all sorts of comic book items. Mostly I loved the stories and the art. As a young man I wanted to be a comic book artist but was not good enough or fast enough. BUT I loved the art and started buying art and comics as often as I could. Now I am of an age where I need to pass them on to other collectors.

I am not a business buying and selling books as fast as I can. My personal collection ended up being over 37,000 comics as well as many pieces of art. I have also continued to buy some art at local cons, but mostly I am selling my collection. If I don’t the IRS will charge my wife an arm and a leg when I die. It is better to sell them now and make other collectors happy and allow my wife (who will outlive me by hundreds of years based on her family history) to keep her arms and legs. She will need them for cruises and vacations while looking for a replacement.

I have decided to sell my collection using E-Bay. Therefore this site will direct you to my E-Bay Store to see what items I currently have on sale. I list some items as bid items and many more as store buy-it-now items. It’s not that I love E-Bay – I don’t. They charge too much and limit my sales, however, they are safe and run a good shop. I know many people feel safer buying through E-Bay with all their safeguards. I like E-Bay because you can see the positive feedback I have received from my customers.

If you would rather not purchase an item through E-Bay contact me and we’ll work something out. I do accept Money Orders and checks. E-Bay has a new policy where I cannot tell you that I accept Money Orders and checks. Their policy states that I cannot list that I will accept Money Orders and Checks, but if a customer asks, I can say I do. Now that is a silly policy. They want all sales to go through Pay-Pal because they own Pay-Pal. Now, don’t get me wrong, Pay-Pal is great if you want to use a Credit Card because I am not set up to accept Credit Cards. From a seller’s point of view it just costs me more money to use Pay-Pal. It does protect me from fraud, and that’s a good thing, right?

I list new items almost daily and try to find items that make people happy. My goal is to find homes for all of my comics. I ship these books packed very carefully, and padded with bubble bags and cardboard. On Golden Age and other higher priced books I offer insurance as well. My policy is, and will continue to be, that if you are not happy with a book, or if I have not graded it correctly, you may return it for a full credit. I truly want you to be happy and to take good care of my books.
